Musicians At Legends Corner
Originally hailing from Johnston County, North Carolina, Amanda has spent the past few years solidifying her status as a must-see performer in all areas of the state that built her into the woman she is today. Her roots can be seen through the lens of her family musical influence, which can be traced back to her grandmother, who led the 1st soprano section of the church choir. Eventually, once she was old enough to drive, Amanda was able to go off and sing as a part of many theatre and country variety shows in the area. Eventually, she put together a full band of her own and spent a number of years booking and managing the outfit herself as they traveled.
Amanda has built a solid reputation of performing a vast array of current and classic country music, classic rock, and mainstream pop alongside songs of her own that she shares with those who are willing to listen. Any given night, there's not a chance that someone walks out of the show without having a great time. Amanda's success has been validated with opportunities to open for top country acts like Chris Young and Justin Moore.
I'm finally in Nashville TN, and chasing my dream!!! Who knows if this will take me anywhere, but I'm sure there will be some good stories come out of it either way!!! So lets see what happens, and at least make some NOISE!!!

"I play music because I really love it. I love what it does to people. I love how a certain song can take them to a particular place or time that taps into a memory or emotion that touches, or maybe even changes them in a way they will never forget." The importance of faith, home and family, and the idea that where you're from shapes who you are, are the recurring themes of Mark's music. Born and raised on a small farm in Choctaw County, Mississippi, Mark developed an early love of simple lyric songs that tell a story. From Southern Gospel super groups like The Happy Goodman Family and The Hinson's to the early Bakersfield sound of Merle Haggard and Buck Owens, the smooth crooning of George Strait to the hillbilly rock of Marty Stuart, and the heartbreak that could only be told through the voice of George Jones, all of these show their influences on FIELDS OF HOME, Mark's first CD of original material. "I try to write songs that people can identify with and that make sense. That's what I was going for with this record." From the contemplations of life and legacy expressed on the title track and "The Man My Momma Tried to Raise", to the soul-searching examinations of identity after love lost on "Would It Do Any Good" and "Finding Me", the songs show Mark's honest, emotional perspective. "Trailer Park Trash" speaks for itself, and "Honky Tonk Rockstar" offers a taste of life as seen by a working musician on Nashville's historic Broadway music scene.

Angsten’s love for music began when he was just 10 years old. Alone in his room, Angsten would write and record music on a four track digital recorder for hours on end. By the time he was 13 he was rockin’ in bars with his father and younger brother in their family band American Pie. With music blaring through the smoky bar rooms, Angsten knew that music was his calling.

Anna recently achieved one of her greatest career accomplishments by releasing her second studio album, called “Storyteller.” The full-length album contains 12 tracks, all but one of which were written or co-written by Anna. She’s also playing on the road every chance she gets and is quickly growing her following all over the United States. “Who knows what will happen, I just pray about everything! I know that I was born to perform and everyday I count my blessings. I don’t know what God has in store for me, but I do know that He has blessed me with such a wonderful gift and it is my job to use it as He intended. I’m definitely learning what it means to pay your dues and I wouldn’t trade one single second of it for anything else in the world. Being able to wake up and do what I love doing is an amazing feeling. I can honestly say that I’m loving my life right now and where ever it may lead, I’m just here enjoying the ride.” - Anna LaPrad
KC Johns Band

At age 8, KC knew she was destined to share her talent through singing and songwriting, after her mother took her to see the Grand Ole Opry. Even today, her main goal is to sing a duet with George Strait at the Opry. KC's main musical influences are George Strait, Shania Twain, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Rob Muzick Band
Rob is an all-inclusive musician, meaning he plays, he sings, and he writes. He remembers hearing The Beatles for the first time and being in awe that “these seemingly normal people had ‘made up’ these amazing songs.” Naturally, he wanted to take a stab at songwriting too – and boy did it work! After moving to Nashville at the age of 24, not only did Rob use music and songwriting as a means to make ends meet, but also as an outlet for emotions. Some of his best songwriting has occurred during heartbreak, which makes that heartbreak worthwhile.

Toting a Martin guitar, Hali is always at the ready to sing a song. She’s been singing since she was a toddler and started playing her guitar when she was 13. With many influences throughout her young but seasoned life, she could tell you about some all-time favorite performers of hers – such as LeAnn Rimes and Dolly Parton.
Being in Nashville brings a unique exposure and because there’s so much live music there she doesn't have much reason to listen to her iPod. However, she does have Lynyrd Skynyrd and Rebecca Lynn Howard in her iTunes lineup. When thinking about influences, what comes to her lips immediately is the indelible influence that her family has had on her life. Tender reverence is revealed as she speaks of the support and assistance she has received from her daddy, her mama, her grandmother (‘nanny’) and the rest of her family.
Her musical exploration of other artists began with an interesting mixture of styles. Her first cassette was given to her as a gift from her daddy - the LeAnn Rimes Blue album. She also recalls receiving The Essential Dolly Parton album later on. The first concert she attended was Carmen, a gospel concert. Her favorite band is Lynyrd Skynyrd (and thanks to her daddy, she can play some Skynyrd!) These early introductions are frequently evident in the tone and timbre of her vocal expressions.

Today, Kelcy’s determination to share her gift has shattered expectations as she works to overcome all odds . Instead of finding her perfect dress for prom or going to parties, Kelcy spent her nights and weekends at home cultivating her talent and devoting endless hours to studying country music. At 16 years old, Kelcy fulfilled a promise to her parents and received her high school diploma, two years earlier than her peers. Jered Ames Band
Born and raised in the Midwest, Jered grew up working on his grandparents farm where the transistor radio hanging in the barn was tuned to the local country station. The inspiring voices of George Strait, Alan Jackson, Mark Chestnutt, and more echoed off the walls every day.
His desire to play music was instilled by his grandmother. One of his earliest memories is sitting next to her at the piano while she taught him the notes on the keyboard. Guitar, drums, and singing naturally followed and he started a band before he was a teenager. His high school years were spent performing for friends and family at local restaurants and talent shows.
Jered’s musical endeavors progressed professionally once he moved to Chicago for college. While obtaining his bachelor’s degree at DePaul University, Jered moonlighted in various bands around the city. Over the years the genres of the groups he played with spanned from country to pop to rock.
He decided to form his own band in 2011. They performed anything from 90’s to current country hits. In addition to frequent shows at Bub City and like venues, his band played weekly ‘country night’ residencies at The Hard Rock Hotel and The Wit Hotel.
By 2015, the decision was made to move to Nashville. Before boxes were even unpacked, he was booked 5 nights a week at some of the most famous honky tonks on Broadway with a band of hand picked players. Drummer, Robert Blair (Kelly Pickler, Clay Walker, Aaron Tippin), guitarist Aaron Currie (Josh Turner, Craig Campbell), and Grammy nominated bassist Jeremy Middleton (Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen). Today, they have been playing 200+ shows a year in Nashville and as well as private engagements around the US.
Jered co-wrote the Canadian country music charting single, HUNT, for new artist Darcy John and he has also co-written songs for artists Luke Betchner and Ben Klick who are working on upcoming releases.
Currently, he is working on his debut EP release (2020) which will echo the 90's country icons he was inspired by growing up.

Ever since I was a little kid, I have loved music--particularly country music. I come from a long line of singers and musicians, so I guess it's only natural that I would have a real passion for it. I love the styles of country legends such as George Jones, Johnny Cash, and George Strait. I also really enjoy modern music, and some of my favorites are Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
I currently spend my time writing and pursuing my dream of becoming a traditional country artist. I am a member of BMI in Nashville, and I have been blessed to write with some of the best writers in the business. I play regularly at venues around the Nashville area. You can find my first official music video, "Young and Dumb," on YouTube and Vimeo. I plan to release my debut EP this year.
I appreciate the support I get from my family, friends and fans. It means a lot. I hope to see you soon! Watch the site for news on upcoming events!
Hailing from Sharon, MA, a small suburb of Boston, Ferrara’s life actually began on stage when his mother went into labor while performing in the Sunday choir. It was as if the joyful noise was calling to him, and he needed to be a part of it. Since that day, his voice has been begging to be heard.
By age three, he was performing in talent shows and even had The Star Spangled Banner completely memorized, which would come in handy when he recently performed at New Era Field in Buffalo and Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. As he grew up, his voice would earn him spots in theater companies and performance troupes, touring around the New England region, including being selected to sing at Symphony Hall in Boston and Carnegie Hall in New York City. In high school, he was in all of the choirs and held leading roles in multiple musicals, but he was also a multi-sport athlete.
“I credit my parents for that,” Ferrara says. “My brother and I had interests all over the map, and they never told us we couldn’t pursue something, especially if we enjoyed it. I’d go from choir rehearsal to football practice. I’d sing the National Anthem before basketball games then take the court as the starting point guard. It was just who I was.”
Aaron Patrick is a 24 year old pianist and country artist from Nashville, TN. He’s an alumni of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

David Black and The Headlights
Four Nashville musicians with a burning desire to play music that doesn’t suck.
Josh Gallagher writes songs destined to root themselves inside your brain and bring you back to the first moment you heard them, every time you listen; he’s not just making music, he’s crafting memories.
Doggedly likable and unashamedly himself, the Pennsylvania native has a ‘no-bullshit’ kind of charm, earning praise from the likes of Rolling Stone and CMT, along with some of country music’s greatest heroes. “This kid,” Garth Brooks said of Gallagher, “as soon as he opens his mouth — you believe him.”
In 2016, Gallagher forced the world to rear its head on season 11 of NBC’s The Voice, making history as the first country artist coach Adam Levine has ever led to the show’s finale.
Since then, Josh has proven he can hold his own on stage with Randy Houser, Eric Paslay, Charlie Daniels, Lee Ann Womack, Cole Swindell and more.
Following the May 2019 release of his debut project “Josh Gallagher (EP)”, JG brought the country music community to its knees with the fall single and music video Boots Like Mine. From dairy farmers and hairdressers, to first responders and frontline soldiers, Boots Like Mine is an anthem for the souls inside the soles—the unsung heroes that keep the heart of country music beating proudly.
The Boots Like Mine video ultimately led to Gallagher breaking his own record, spending 8 weeks at #1 on CMT Music’s 12-Pack Countdown. Following the enormous success of Boots Like Mine, Josh Gallagher announced the March 2020 release of his sophomore EP “Turn Around Town”.
Nashville recording artist, Mac Watts, is a rising star in modern country music. Mac grew up just north of Detroit, Michigan aspiring to play collegiate ice hockey but always had a love for music. When he decided to hang up the skates, he taught himself how to play the guitar, write songs and sing. Mac claims he grew up on Motown, country, and Irish drinking songs. His big influences though today are the sounds of Eric Church, Kip Moore, Brothers Osborne, and Dierks Bentley to name a few.
“You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.” Johnny Cash
Saluda Shoals began in the spring of 2015 as an acoustic project between Henri Gates (Southwood) and Cassie Verhaeghe (Brushfires). In January 2016 the band recruited some of Charleston's best musicians and shortly after began performing as Saluda Shoals. In the short time since its conception, Saluda Shoals has released a 5 song EP available at all major online stores and has won competitions and award nominations across the Southeast.
Nominated for four 2016 Independent Tone Awards:
- Best Country Artist
- Best Rock Artist
- Best American Roots Artist
- Best American Roots Original Song ("I Fall")
Nominated for Charleston City Paper Music Awards "Best Americana/Country Artist"
1st place winner of Wild Wing Cafe's "Last Band Standing" June 2016
1st place winner Palmetto Brewing's "Battle of the Bands" July 2016
"Saluda Shoals come out blazing with a nearly flawless blend of talent, energy and undeniable presence. Whether caressing your ears with a velvet ballad or curling your socks with a rousing rocker, the harmony and precision of Henri Gates and Cassie Verhaeghe delivers pure listening pleasure. In particular, one of their original songs, “Fight Dirty,” would be right at home on the current country or alternative hit charts and, frankly, outshine many of the songs currently there."
- Stan Massey, Chief Marketing Officer at Transcend Marketing
